Terms of Service

The terms that apply to use of this website and to services provided by Syntex AI.

Placeholder — replace before launch. Structurally complete but generic. Not reviewed by a lawyer. Before launch, have counsel align this with the actual client services agreement — particularly the 90-day commitment, the month-to-month terms after it, ownership of accounts and assets, the performance representations made on the homepage guarantees section, and governing law (Canadian and US engagements may need different clauses).

Using this website

By using https://syntexai.ca you agree to these terms. The site is provided for information about our services. We try to keep everything accurate and current, but content may change without notice.

What this site is not

Nothing on this site is a guarantee of results, a contractual offer, or professional legal, financial, or tax advice. Marketing outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your market, your competitors, your pricing, your capacity, and your own follow-through.

Where we make specific commitments — response time standards, direct account access, month-to-month terms after the first 90 days, and reporting — those apply to signed clients under a written services agreement, and that agreement governs.

Services

Services are provided under a separate written agreement setting out scope, fees, term, and responsibilities. Where anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes precedence.

Your responsibilities as a client

  • Provide accurate information about your business, services, and pricing
  • Hold the licences, insurance, and registrations your trade and jurisdiction require
  • Provide timely access to accounts and systems needed to do the work
  • Respond to booked appointments and leads generated on your behalf
  • Approve messaging and automation before it goes live

Ownership

You own your domain, your website content and code, your advertising accounts, your CRM data, your Google Business Profile, and your phone numbers. We do not hold assets hostage and there is no exit fee for taking them with you.

We retain ownership of our own methods, internal tooling, templates, and documentation that are not specific to your business.

Third-party platforms

Services depend on platforms we do not control — Google, Meta, telephony providers, CRM vendors, and others. Their policies, pricing, and availability can change, and we are not responsible for their decisions, outages, or account actions.

Fees and payment

Fees, billing dates, and payment terms are set out in your services agreement. Advertising spend is billed directly to your own accounts by the platforms, at cost, with no markup from us.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
